You expect a box at your door, not a biohazard. But for two Los Angeles homeowners, a Mother's Day delivery from Amazon® took a shocking turn — one that's now gone viral for all the wrong reasons.

A Sunday Morning Surprise

Tamara Bedoy thought she was waking up to breakfast in bed. Instead, she got a whiff of something that didn't belong — and it wasn't the bacon. Outside her Woodland Hills home, her husband discovered more than just an Amazon package. He found human feces right on their front steps, left just moments earlier by the person delivering their order.

At first, the couple didn't understand what had happened. "Just right here in front of the garage, just right there on the steps, that's where it happened. This is where the package was delivered at the top of the stairs. Poop. And then she walked over here and threw her napkins over the side," Bedoy's husband explained in a video shared with FOX 11 Los Angeles.

Caught in the Act — Again

If that incident weren't upsetting enough, another homeowner down the street reported a nearly identical encounter. About 30 minutes after the first drop-off, the same driver appeared to relieve herself again — this time on another person's porch.

A doorbell camera recorded the driver pulling up her purple shorts and walking off as if nothing happened.

Later footage submitted to local station KTLA appeared to show the driver urinating in a yard. The behavior stunned the second homeowner, who declined to speak publicly but told reporters they were too upset to comment further, as reported by Daily News.

Amazon Responds

Amazon confirmed the driver was working as an independent contractor under their FLEX program. The company acted swiftly after the videos surfaced, issuing a public apology.

"We're deeply disturbed by the unacceptable behavior of this delivery driver and apologize to the customers involved," an Amazon spokesperson told USA TODAY. "We immediately identified the driver and they are no longer delivering."

The Aftermath and Open Questions

The driver's name has not been released publicly, and Los Angeles police have not yet announced any formal investigation or charges. For now, the homeowners are left with questions — and understandably, concerns for their safety.

"We both couldn't sleep last night after processing it," Bedoy told reporters, according to FOX 11 Los Angeles. "I'm like could she come back? I heard she lost her job. Will she be angry? And now I have to think about these things and I shouldn't have to but I am honestly."

It's unclear what prompted the actions — whether a personal emergency, a protest, or something else entirely. But the homeowners involved are still scrubbing more than just their doorsteps. They're trying to scrub away the feeling that their private space was violated in a way they never imagined.
